Heidi is a financial news specialist and former TV anchor for Bloomberg Television in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. She has more than 15 years’ experience working in business and financial news, generating content for financial publications including the Wall Street Journal, Sky News, CNN, CNBC and Forbes. Heidi was previously the Corporate Communications Manager for DAMAC Properties in Dubai - named by Forbes as the fastest growing company in the world. Heidi has an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Finance. She currently consults to a range of companies from ASX Top 200 companies to fast growing start-ups and cryptocurrency companies.
Jon is an award-winning marketing and communications specialist and former business editor in Australia and the Middle East. He has more than 13 years’ experience creating content for some of the world’s largest brands including Volvo, DHL and Emirates. Jon has lectured in communications at tertiary level in the United Arab Emirates and been head of marketing and communications at Western Australia’s largest private school. He has a Bachelor of Communications and Diploma of Education. Jon currently consults to companies from mining, oil & gas, and technology, to start-ups and NFPs.
Dan is a data journalist and former editor at Bloomberg LP in Sydney where he covered economic, political and financial statistics for the Australia and New Zealand economies before working in Hong Kong as Bloomberg's Commodities Editor for the Asia Pacific. Dan’s mandate at Bloomberg included overseeing the group’s heavily followed economic calendar, surveying economists on key economic reports and pioneering data journalism within the news division. He has also held analyst roles at Macquarie Bank, Teradata, Telstra-PCCW joint venture Reach, British Telecom and the Queensland Government. Dan has a Bachelor of Business-Corporate Communications. He has appeared on Sky News, Channel 9, and 2GB radio and has had articles published in the Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald and news.com.au.
Kate has more than 20 years strategy and marketing experience. She is a former management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and then a member of the corporate strategy team at Bankwest. Kate’s marketing experience includes being the Western Australian state marketing manager for Vodafone and in Sydney managing the major sponsorships for the Australian Cricket Team and Essendon Football Club. Prior to this she spent five years in the media with Austereo in the 2 Day FM marketing and promotions team and with Channel 7 as a segment producer. Kate has an MBA, a Graduate Certificate in Management Marketing and a Law degree.
Director of Strategy and Marketing
Tim is an experienced motion graphics designer and video editor who has worked for leading Australian news channels including Sky News Business and Channel 9 Perth. With an eye for producing animations that inform, engage and connect with audiences, he has created motion graphics and 3D animations for ASX-listed and private companies across Australia. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts (Digital Design). He has helped produce award-winning content for a range of B2B and B2C companies.
Video Graphics Animator
Mikey has more than five years’ experience as a graphic designer and professional illustrator and has worked with a range of Australian businesses in developing their brands. He has a design portfolio that spans corporate, government, events and arts including the 2019 Perth Beer Fest and State Government Quit Smoking Campaign. Mikey has a Bachelor of Design from the SAE Institute Australia. He has been part of award-winning creative campaigns for some of Australia’s fastest-growing start-ups.
David is a writer with close to two decades of experience as a journalist and editor with leading news organisations including the ABC in Australia, and BBC World News and Al Jazeera in London. His journalism has been shortlisted for a number of media awards, while his forthcoming debut novel was shortlisted for the prestigious Vogel’s Literary Award. David’s writing has appeared in major publications from The Australian to WAtoday and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Senior Business Journalist
Simon has over 10 years’ experience in web design, ranging from static brochure sites to e-commerce platforms. He specialises in WordPress development and has worked with a range of ASX-listed companies, taking ideas and building them into bespoke websites that achieve strategic business goals. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) as well as a Postgrad Diploma (Digital Marketing).
Ronan specialises in digital marketing with extensive experience working on some of Australia's largest fundraising campaigns including MSWA's Mega Home Lottery. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University with a major in marketing and a minor in screen production.
